The Customer
Industrial designer Pikarar is an artist and illustrator with a strong online presence. Her signature phrase, “how to draw cute,” perfectly captures the essence of her work style. Currently, she has gained notable fame on Instagram, with nearly 100,000 followers, and has influencer collaboration with brands like GUCCI.
The Design
Pikarar wanted to create a custom acrylic LED sign featuring her signature fox design and shared a sketch with us. However, because her neon sign design includes so many intricate details, replicating it exactly would result in an extremely large final product. So, we suggested using UV printing for some of the finer details. This way, we could preserve the essence of the design while ensuring the neon light stays within a manageable size.
However, she completely rejected our suggestion, insisting on fully replicating the design with neon stripes. She wanted to showcase the unique style of neon lights. After confirming that she was okay with a sign approximately 90 cm by 100 cm in size, we proceeded to complete it according to her wishes.
Customer Approval
Her persistence was definitely justified, as the final product turned out to be stunning. Not only did she personally love it, saying, “This sign is BIG MOOD!! I’m super impressed by how accurately @lamomoneon captured my artwork and line quality in the neon sign,” but her fans also adored it. Some even went ahead and purchased her collaborative neon sign. Pikarar has expressed her willingness to collaborate on a smaller-sized sign, and the good news is that it's already in the works. We believe it will be available to everyone soon.
