The Customer
John, an environmental enthusiast who loves hiking, camping, and participates in annual beach cleanups and forest conservation volunteer work, is also the head of a leading environmental charity organization in Europe.
The Design
Recently, John was tasked with creating a large outdoor sign for business to be installed on their building facade, featuring the message: "All we have is words, all we have is the world." The expected width was about 100 feet, roughly ten times the size of a standard neon sign. Designing a light strip thick and visually impactful enough for this scale was a challenge, as even the largest available strips seemed too thin. We used two strips per letter—one for the outer frame and one for the inner frame. This innovative double neon rope light design gave each letter a bold and striking outline, achieving the necessary proportional thickness for a captivating effect.
